Familial Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (FALS) Study

Study Purpose:

The goal of this study is to identify families with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). In addition, the investigators will identify families with ALS who may be eligible for the pre-fALS study or a clinical trial of arimoclomol in SOD1 positive familial ALS. Full Study Summary:

Participation in this study involves a telephone conversation in which the investigators will draw your family tree, identifying those relatives who have had or currently have ALS. The investigators would also like study participants to donate a blood sample for research purposes.
